    MMWave Sensor

    Hi Guys,

With all the hype about MMwave sensors (breath/zone detection sensors), I wanted to know if anyone has had any luck integrating any into Loxone? I think they're a great idea and really are the future of all smart homes. A lot of unnecessary logic can be removed, lights will turn off as soon as nobody is in the room, they can detect exactly where in the room you are and how many people are in the room due to it basically being a radar sensor, which solves so many little issues.

I haven't found any that will provide any sort of physical output that can be read into loxone via digital input. I could integrate it into something like homeassistant and send HTTP requests to a loxone VI, but I wanted something more reliable that can be installed for other people too without worry of failing.

I'm hoping Loxone just make one soon. I know they have acoustic detection in all permanently powered sensors, but this would take it up to an extremely good level.
I've heard some are really good (such as the Aqara FP2 Zigbee one - https://www.aqara.com/us/product/presence-sensor-fp2).

Interested to see if anyone has played around with these sensors yet or is planning to in future?

Update: I haven’t managed to find anything that will work, but a Matter sensor may be the best solution in future if Loxone don’t make one.

The Matter integration is Beta currently but hopefully it will get sorted soon enough.

I just want my lights to turn off 10 secs after I leave the room 😂
