    relay switch wiring

    Hello,

I have the following device a IR/rs232/relay controller ( https://www.kanexpro.com/item/CR-3XCONTROL ) and am looking how to wire switches to its the trigger input.
    The documentation states:
TRIGGER IN: Connect to any device with trigger or switch functionality such as window security alarms, motion detectors, door switches, etc. Each of the 8 trigger inputs will activate the associated macro when triggered. A minimum of 5V DC is required to activate the trigger.
The connector has 10 pins in a 2x5 layout for the 8 trigger inputs; they are labelled:
    5V 1 2 3 4
    gnd 5 6 7 8
How do I wire buttons to this? Is it a matter of wiring a switch from 5V to the number of the trigger?

    Thanks!

Yes just wire the 5V to the switch and then from the switch to the input.

      Thanks!
That is what I thought, but I wanted to be sure...

The GND connector, would that allow me to e.g. permanently power the led-indicator of switches with a led in them?
