    Electric blinds: suggestions?

    Hello,

I'm looking to replace two roller shades with electric alternatives. We are looking either at roller shades or horizontal blinds. It would be nice to move to something electrical that can be integrated with my Loxone but can also be used using local controls.

My Loxone is Gen. 1, no Loxone Air extension, I am currently still working without a Loxberry. In the location of the blinds, power is available (in one room it is a dedicated 3-wire power cable - so that may be wired in with the Loxone ,but in the other room the power is not for exclusive use by the blinds).

I'm looking at different options. A one-in-all option would be Switchbot, e.g. https://eu.switch-bot.com/products/s...t-roller-shade but it is not clear to me if they can be integrated with Loxone without adding other hardware (e.g. a Matter server). There is a hub ( https://eu.switch-bot.com/products/switchbot-hub-2 ) but I'm also not sure if this would help integration. It would be a one-in-all solution, but may not integrate well.

A more modular approach could be Shelly; they seem to have proper APIs for TCP control. Then I would be looking at something like this https://www.shelly.com/products/shelly-2pm-gen3-1 in combination with some standard motorized blinds (suggestions?) and normal switches at the location?

    Thanks,

    Jörg
