Valve actuator air position feedback.

Hello,

Is there a way to get the actual position of a air valve? I want to know this because it takes a while before the valve moves to the requested position. And i don't want to request heat from the boiler/heater when the valve is still closed.

Now i have a time on delay for the heating request that is send to the boiler/heater. But this is not optimal.

Or any other suggestions. The heating request is just a on/off contact on the boiler/heater (gas/solar combi)
