    Dimmer extension

Has anyone tried to use the dimmer with Led light bulbs ? I would like to switch from halogen bulbs to Led but I'm not sure if this will work. Unfortunately I have to use G9 socket light source, so I can't use any from the Loxone list....

First of al the LED bulb must be dimmable, but I guess this is clear. Anything else means testing. Order one piece and try it out....for a few days.

You are not the first one, using the dimmer extension with LED light bulbs. But as all the LED light bulbs are different, there is no way to give a unique answer. It depends on the type you have.
Personally I use KNX dimmer not the Loxone dimmer.
But in the old forum, there are a few post about this topic.

So that's good to hear 😀 I have to say that I have been using also a KNX dimmer (ABB) but it doesn't work with G9 Led lights (but it works perfectly with Philips Leds) and that's why I thought that Loxone would preform better...
Could you tell me what type of dimmer are you using?
