    Loxone Radiator Actuators - alternative

    Hello all,

Well this is my first post here and I can see a lot of exciting things happening At times I don't know where to read from. I have a lot of reading to do and lots of questions to ask of different topics.

I am having a refurbishment of my full house. So lots of cables are going in. I am going to use Loxone system for my Smart Solution. I am looking at budgeting for the radiators but the Loxone Actuators are very expensive, is there any cheaper alternative actuators that can be used with Loxone? i.e. other compatible actuators? I need about 15.

If there are alternatives, does it have to be wired or can I use it on Loxone Air ?

Sorry lots of questions for now.

    Thank you.

Air is a Loxone proprietary and closed wireless protocol.

You can use every valve actuator, connected to a digital output of Miniserver/Extension (LoxLink) or Multi Extension Air.

Welcome to the forum! I understand your budget concerns. I've been there too. Check out some third-party Z-Wave or Zigbee radiator actuators; they can work with Loxone, and some are more budget-friendly. You can find all of these at Radiator Village. As for wired or Loxone Air, it often depends on the model, so you'll need to do some research.Check out some third-party Z-Wave or Zigbee radiator actuators; they can work with Loxone, and some are more budget-friendly.
