Unfortunately that thread suggestion doesn't work for me. I'm on firmware 1.0.7.23 and have left the field 'Number Called when Door Bell Pressed' empty.
The three error beeps don't occur, but nor does the 'Ding Dong' occur at the intercom. A non-descript 'beep' occurs at the intercom, the same sound as when 'Doorbell Mode' is set to 'Doorbell Output Control'.
I've logged a ticket with Grandstream and they've responded -
"If we propose the following option to our developers, would it be sufficient to meet the requirement?
For all doorbell modes, add the option to choose between the following:
If enabled = GDS will ring inside and outside.
If disabled (default) = we keep the current design (only inside bell will ring and GDS not).
