It is not possible to wire the buttons to both send to Miniserver and directly to the rollers.
There are several options for that:
- Use coupling relays with a button. In the cabinet then, you can manually press the button on the relay.
- Use KNX actors. Every KNX actor has buttons for manual control.
- Use Shelly’s/Sonoffs etc. behind the switch. Shelly can be controlled from Miniserver, and the buttons can be used in Loxone Config. In the case if an “event”, you can control the shutters from the Shelly App without a running Miniserver.
- Buy a second Miniserver, or at least spare SD cards and power supply.
Thanks for you answer, I will have a look to the different solution you mentioned.
i was thinking in something like Legrand stated for its myHome product (see pictures). Looks like that you can have both local (230V classical) and remotely controled (thanks to the bus) command for shutters
This would be like Shelly - you can control locally and remotely.
But instead of a proprietary bus, Shelly is more IoT-like, therefore it uses open protocols for controlling, and Wi-Fi for transport.
You're right ... that's why I am considering also Zwave + Jeedom as a potential solution.
However I'd rather prefer a wire solution (to limit the waves) but that does not seem possible (to be confirmed by Loxone ?) if I want to keep a classical setup in parralel.
Also in the case that the server is down is there a way to command individually and control the shutter ?
And how is the wiring if you use conventional switch like Legrand Celiane
And how is the wiring if you use conventional switch like Legrand Celiane
If using conventional switch products, all should be made as push buttons not switches. You would wire 24V from the Miniserver to the push button, and the way back to the DI inputs (of any
Miniserver, Extension or DI Extension). A switch with 4 push buttons therefore needs 5 wires (24V plus one DI each).
All Loxone interfaces combine with all other Loxone interfaces.
So a push button connected to a DI can control an actor on Tree, and a Tree Touch button can control an Air device, or an Air motion sensor can switch on a light on a DO.
My Loxone configuration? It is big 😉
As from a time before Air and Tree, it is SPS-like wired, with additional DMX, 1-Wire and some KNX.
Do you have any wiring example with a push button ? I did not totaly catch how it works.
I assume this button has to be directly and solely wired to the miniserver (dedicated line), right ?
