Virtual HTTP input with variable parameters

For my Loxone home automation I need to query an external data source with a variable parameter in the URL.
As far as I know, it is not possible to pass a parameter (e.g. <v>) to the URL of a Virtual HTTP input.

I found a workaround by using a Virtual Output that can take a parameter and write the constructed URL to a file on the Miniserver SD card.
This file can then be picked up and used as the URL for the Virtual HTTP input.
Please see posting: https://groups.google.com/g/loxone-e.../c/O64ELUgn7NI -> entry by Tico

It seems like a viable solution that would work for me, but I am struggling with the syntax for the URL that I should use for the Virtual Output and I don't succeed in creating the output file in the /user/common folder on the Miniserver SD card following the instructions in the posting by Tico.

Can someone assist me with the correct URL syntax to write a file to the /user/common folder or does someone have a better suggestion to approach this problem.

Please let me know if my description of the problem is not clear, thank you!

      Thank you Christian,

I don't know what I was thinking, but suddenly I realized I have to put the URL of the data source in the Virtual Output address field and the parameters with variable in the Command for ON filed of the Virtual Output Command.
So I got this part working...
When I have this solution working and it is reliable I will publish it as it might be useful for other Loxone users too.
