LoxBerry 1.2.4 Prerelease

In dieser Version haben wir einen ganzen Haufen verschiedener Sachen drin, hauptsächlich für Plugin-Entwickler.
Einige der Features werden im kommenden Update von Plugins bereits verwendet (Weather4Lox, Caldav, und das - wieder - in Entwicklung befindliche Stats4Lox), also achtet bei den Plugins auf die nötige Loxberry-Version!

Wir führen u.a. das Modul LoxBerry::IO (Perl) ein, um die Kommunikation mit dem Miniserver zu vereinfachen.

Wie immer der Disclaimer: Das ist derzeit der Prerelease, also wenn euch etwas komisch vorkommt, dann bitte bei uns melden.

In this version we have lots of new features, primarily for plugin developers.
Some of the features already are used in the upcoming updates of some plugins (Weather4Lox, Caldav, and the - resumed - development of Stats4Lox), therefore at the plugin description keep an eye on the required LoxBerry version!

Among others, we introduce the module LoxBerry::IO (Perl) to handle data transfers from/to the Miniserver more easily.

And, like everytime, the disclaimer: This is a prerelease - if you find something strange, keep us updated.

Bevor Ihr das Update einspielt beachtet bitte folgenden Hinweis / Before updating please see following note:

Bei GitHub scheint sich etwas geändert zu haben (ich hoffe, das hat nichts mit der Microsoft-Übernahme zu tun...), jedenfalls beantwortet GitHub, von wo die LoxBerry Updates direkt geladen werden, eine Standardanfrage zur Ermittlung der Dateigröße nicht mehr. Wir wissen nicht, ob das alle betrifft, oder viele oder nur manche.

Wir haben in V1.2.4 diese Dateigrößenüberprüfung vor dem eigentlichen Download ausgebaut und verlassen uns in Zukunft auf den Integritätscheck beim Entpacken. Damit funktioniert ab V1.2.4 das LoxBerry Update wieder wie gewohnt.

Da nun natürlich betroffene LoxBerrys nicht auf V1.2.4 updaten können, haben wir hier ein LoxBerry Update FIX-Pluginbereitgestellt, das einmalig die Installationsroutine behebt:

Nach der Installation kann LoxBerry Update normal verwendet, und das Plugin wieder deinstalliert werden.

The github.com website, where the LoxBerry Updates directly come from, seems to stop to respond to a standard request to aquire the filesize. We used that information to compare it with the later downloaded update file.

With V1.2.4 we have removed this check and now trust on the integration check of the unzipping process. Therefore, from V1.2.4 the LoxBerry Update feature works as usual.

To get the installation routine without the check, please install the following LoxBerry Update FIX plugin, that one-shot replaces the installation routine.

After you have updated, you can savely uninstall the plugin.

What's New V1.2.4

Speziell für die Plugins, die viel Logging betreiben, wie W4L, ist das Update ein „Must Have“, da es einige Verbesserungen und Korrekturen bezüglich RAM-Disk Speicherverbrauch enthält.
Damit fixen wir einige Probleme, die wir zuvor mühevoll eingeführt haben. 😉

Ich hatte im Anschluss auch nochmal neu gestartet, Version zurückgesetzt, neugestartet und nochmal installiert. Fehler bleibt bestehen.

Scrati Moment, das Update-Log bringt nichts.
Mach mal http://loxberry/admin/system/tools/showalllogs.cgi
Such das Package 'core' und dort ein 'setswap'. Wenn's das Log gibt, das neueste davon bringt was.
