Mounting a network drive (synology)

Hello,

I installed LMS on the Loxberry.

Everything works fine, but now I want to acces my music that's stored on my NAS.

I tried to mount the folders via the "netshares" plugin.

That worked. But I still can't view the folders via LMS.

Do I need to mount the folders another way?

Somebody told me to use fstab. How do I do this?

If you see the share in the Netshares widget, it is already mounted.
Now open the Filemanager widget, and browse to /opt/loxberry/system/storage/smb/YOURSERVER/YOURSHARE/YOURMUSICPATH
You should see your music files and folders.


Now you need to set this path (/opt/loxberry/... like above) in the LMS Settings at the Basic Settings tab. There the path to the music library has to be set. Possibly, a restart of the LMS service is required.
