Mal davon abgesehen das der Raspi mit Stick 50€ kostet und eine Modbus-Ext 280€.

Yes, genau darum geht es mir ja und auch für die Modbus Extension müsste ich wiederum ein Link kabel legen. Bei ebay bin ich noch auf dieses Gateway gestossen, das eventuell auch funktionieren würde.

Deswegen stehe ich ja mit dem Entwickler in kontakt, wäre ja ein leichtes das anzupassen und von der Grösse her ziemlich ideal. Zumindest für meinen Fall.

I would like to operate the Trübner SMT 100 with the plug-in. Does anyone have the appropriate config already present. I don't receive anything in the Loxone.

The most common mistake is "Order of registers" checkbox not checked in the Loxone config.
If it's checked, send me (private message):
- modbus documentation (or link to) for SMT100
- printscreen of your gateway settings in loxberry
- printscreens of the modbus server and SMT100 and it's sensors settings in loxone config (actuators are not working at the moment)

Hi

I'd like to use this plugin to contact my Dimplex Jet350. I'm able to contact and read registers using my windows and simply Modbus master. So, no cabling issues.
Unfortunately, I'm not able to contact my Jet350 using your Modbus gateway, running on a Raspi3 on different USB ports. I'm using this kind of USB/RS485 converter you put a picture to the wiki page (Model YF-D1). Please find my loglevel 9 log (it's not that much) below and my simplymodbus configuration attached.

Ich habe eine Elsner P03/3 Modbus und ein USB Stick hier und versuche sie anzusprechen. Leider tut sich da nichts, hat das jemand von euch schonmal gemacht. Mit Loxberry ging bisher noch gar nichts. Scheinbar muss man ja Befehle senden um die Antwort zu erhalten, zumindest gemäss Anleitung. Any hints?

I have a P03/3 weather station from Elsner. I am trying to access it directly with windows and a rs485 usb stick. Doesn't work so far, any hints from your end? A tool which you can recommend?

I just checked out the modbus- plugin for Loxberry.
I tried to connect a "Froeling wood heating system" called "Dual Compact".

Anyway, connecting with the windows tool, "Simply Modbus Master" I can read out for example the temperature of the heating circuit -> refer to the attachment

By using the Modbus Gateway plugin for the Loxberry, I am not able to read a value.

Do anybody know what's the issue here?

The second point, I do not understand, why the window tool subtract an offset? In my example "30001"?

The issue was this offset. The IO- Address in Loxone is the given address from Fröling list subtract the 1 ID.
Here an example:

I try now to include a Finder Powermeter 7E which i successfully integrated via Modbus Gateway to connect via Loxberry Modbus Gateway. The reason is, that I have a distance to my PV plant what easiely could be over Raspberry and WIFI.

Now whats the problem:

• I use a USB-RS485 adapter which is found just in time by Raspberry - Loxberry - Modbus Gatew

• Configuration of Modbus Gateway in Loxberry is done like shown in the attached picture.
• The powermeter is configured in the same way. Same Baud rate, address 8
• Gateway is configurated in Loxone Config like shown

• Power Meter is configrated also

ich habe eine zweite unabhängige Loxberry Installation gemacht und dort das Modbus Plugin installiert. Hat auch nicht funktioniert. Die Lösung war dann wie in diesem Beitrag beschrieben über den Umweg Node Red https://www.loxforum.com/forum/proje...672#post208672
Einziges Thema war dann, dass die Werte nur weitergegeben werden wenn sie sich auch ändern.


Vom Entwickler hab ich trotz englischsprachiger Anfragen keine Rückmeldung bekommen.
