Miniserver backup: Error #37: Unable to start backup subprogram (PHP)

I had noticed the Miniserver backup plugin was no longer working (Since late February 2021).
I have tried downgrading to an older version, this was not successful.

Perhaps unrelated, but the HTTPS mention in the plugin window has caught my eye.
I own a Miniserver gen1, the configuration has the HTTPS disabled.

Debug logfile is attached, but doesn't seem very helpful:

you had update problems from LB2.0 to LoxBerry 2.2.1.2.
This issue might be depending on that, therefore had you tested the backup AFTER you had successfully updated to LB 2.2.1.2?

Indeed, I have had some update issues. I hoped these were the cause for the problem with the plugin, but that does not seem to be the case.
I have re-tested everything after successfully updating to LB 2.2.1.2.
Unfortunately the problem persisted.
