I have made my first plugin for Loxberry! It publishes the SolarEdge inverter statistics to the MQTT Gateway. The plugin reads these values using a 5 minute cron-job by polling the solaredge cloud API.
It is similar to the existing "SolarEdge Bridge" plugin that I found. But that plugin didn't support all the values I needed for my setup (grid usage, battery power, etc). Because I am new to loxberry plugin development, I wasn't sure how plugins worked or how to modify them, and I found it easier to make this new one from scratch. Also MQTT was a better option for my setup as well.
If there is a better place to announce this, please let me know!
