Crashing when deleting a zone, none will start
Had to reinstall due to switch in hardware and running into a scenario where the players won't start and when I try and delete one, it crashes the whole thing. I am sure I have some setting somewhere wrong...

A bit more information??
https://www.loxforum.com/forum/proje...usicserver4lox
1. the MS4L don`t create Cards/Zone-Cards by themself, so if you have 24 Cards, somebody have created.
2. You have installed the system with UEFI Partition I guess
Looks like when I look at you free diskspace.
3. Are you at the latest Version of MS4L?
The Supportdata shows LMS 7.9.2 and no further number, that whas an issue in MS4l 0.5.9 and is allready fixed.Kein Support per PN!Kommentar

When i heavily edited the MS4L configuration i sometimes ended with exactly the same behavior as describe here.
As i had no clue what has caused this, the only solution for me was to do a fully fresh install.
Due to this hassle (i had it couple of times before i had all my 28 Speakers up and running) i ask hismastersvoice if it would be possible to get a easy "reset config" option that wipes all config files and sets them to initial stare, to have a fresh start without reinstalling the whole system.
I am still on a spezial V0.59 so i don't know if this Option has be implemented already.
If not, i would suggest to used the config save option directly after a fresh install not touching any sound config and using this to do a restore to initial state i needed.

Okay tried a clean install of everything. Still getting lots of weirdness. I attached a new status file.
Hardware is ThinkPad 440S to 3x Startech 7.1 USB sound cards with 250GB SSD and 4GB RAM(?). These feed 2x Dayton MA1260 amps which I currently just set to on. This all worked before (I reverted my hardware changes to a different sound card for now).
I did blacklist the internal sound cards in Ubuntu. I can try doing it in Bios.
sudo df -h output is attached also.

Well, I just reinstalled and it is all working now. (1) I suspect somehow I ended up installing on the wrong partition which caused all sorts of problems and (2) there was some permissions issue that resolved itself when reinstalling one of the many times.
Now to just figure out how to standardize volumes for different players.Kommentar
