    Problem with 2 CSL - CM106 USB cards

    Hello,

    I'm using MS4L for quite a while now, but as from day 1 I have issues when there are 2 USB cards attached to my system (CPU J1900 /8GB RAM - aliexpress.com/item/32822505748.html ). So not linked to the beta I'm currently using.
    With only 1 card connected, my zones are working as expected and very happy with the solution!

    Mapping stays stable as follows:
    Front 0/1
    Center / Bass 2/3
    Back 4/5
    Surround 6/7

    When I have a configuration with 2 cards, to have more zones, the mapping on the second cards shifts randomly from Front to center/back/Surround.
    The first +-10 seconds of music playing it works as expected (8/9 mapped to Front).

    Then the music stops abruptly on card2/front and plays on card2/center, a bit after it stops there and plays on card2/back ; etc ...

    My onboard audio is disabled.
    I have 4 USB2 ports and 1 USB3 port.

    Already tried several things:
    -deleting and recreating all zones when plug in the cards to USB2 ports / USB3
    -purchased a LogiLink UA0148 USB 2.0 HUB and connected to USB2 & tried to USB3 too; but same issue
    -linked the unused card 2 outputs to a zone
    8/9 -> Laundry room / badroom2
    10/11-> fitness / entrance
    12/13-> free
    14/15-> free

    Using the second card in a 1card MS4L config also works fine, ruling out a hardware issue on the card itself.

    Anyone had a similar experience? Or an idea what might be the issue?
    I'm already thinking of switching 1 card with an Aureon 7.1 usb to further test. As I would really like to have all my speakers connected after almost 2 years of moving in

    I´m sure that this is more a Hardware /Motherboard thing.
    What are your settings ijn Bios for Legacy USB Support?

    Send me an PN with your address, I´ll send you Aureon Cards and if you like an Intel NUC for testing...
    Kein Support per PN!

      Legacy USB support is enabled in BIOS, so should be ok?

      My last attempt of playing with the USB cards did work for whatever reason...

      1) Removing the USB hub and doing a direct connection to the system again
      2) swap the cables of the USB sound cards + use different order of USB ports on the system
      3) recreate the zones again (like done so many times)

      Will continue to monitor the situation, but so far so good, all remains stable.
      Think I had to create a topic much sooner
