No connection with miniserver (Loxone config showing "offline")

    Hello all,

Since a few days I have no connection anymore between MS4home and the miniserver.

Musicserver shows "offline" in the loxone config. I tried to re-install, but didn't work. It stays red.

You can see the details in the pictures attached. Does somebody have an idea?

    • Loxone minserver version: 12.2.12.01
    • Hardware: Raspberry 4
    • Zones internal number: 0
    • External number of zones: 3 working
Which external zone hardware: Raspberry 4 + Hifiberry Amp2 connected via UTP on internal network

      Hello Hismastersvoice,

This was filled in automatically when I installed it a few months ago. I didn't change it.
The MAC address in the network settings is: dc:a6:32:a5:73:9f
      And in loxone config DCA632A5739F

      But still no connection...

As you can see in attached pictures, both are identical. But yet no connection. Which is very frustrating as my whole music set-up is built around MS4H...

After going to Help => Config checker and pressing “repair” in MS4home everything works fine again. The musicserver is green again in the Lxone config. Let's hope it stays like this now :-)

Don`t what happens at your system, issue that you loose the clients, now the MSG...
Maybe instability of the power supply?

It's weird indeed. It's always possible, but I don't think there are problems with power suplies.
Anyway, the system is now working flawless for the past 3 days.
The only thing I have missing now in the Loxone application is the ability to use Spotify. Only internet radia is choosable.

Since roughly the same time, I have the same problem, but the config is all green and repairing doesn’t resolve anything.

After a while the MS4H appears online again in the Loxone config and the app, but mostly when I open the zone to select a favorite in the Loxone app, it immediately goes offline and then says it’s starting up. It takes a great while again for it to actually be online again.

The thing is that the MS4H seems to be running fine, the Logitech Media Server as well as I can select and play music just fine if I approach the server directly. Also playing music through the alarm clock function block and other Loxone automations works fine. It’s the app that seems to be incompatible now.

Attached you can find the support data file.

            Let me have a guess...
This only happens with your external zones...?
Your external zones are all Sonos speakers connected via AirPlay...?

What is that internal zone? Is that a real zone or a fake zone?

              Good guess ;-)

The external zones are all connected via AirPlay yes. 1 zone with 2 linked Sonos/Symfonisk speakers, 3 zones with Libratone speakers.

The internal zone is a squeezlight player running on the Pi.

Did I miss something in the manual or on the forum? This has been running well for a good while now.

                Another guess...
You have to deinstall the AirPlay Bridge, reboot the System an reinstall the Bridge, then it should work.

Wrong guess. I did those steps, but I see the same situation. Logitech did remember the Bridge's config files, or do those also all need to be erased?
