    Miniserver V2 Username not reachable

Thank you for creating this fantastic software. I have taken the decision to replace my original 8-zone music server and install MusicServer4Home. I have completed the installation and I have reached the part of configuring the miniserver connection. I have a V2 miniserver, but MS4H will not allow https to be used due to music server gateway. I have created a new user on the miniserver with full access (same as I did for Home Assistant), but when I enter the same details into the MS4H, the interface states username not reachable. The dashboard states that the miniserver is reachable with 0% packet loss.

I will be very grateful for any assistance you can kindly give with this issue.

    Adding additional information:

Hardware - Original Loxone music server
Zones - None set at present
    MS4H version - 1.5.5.17
    Loxone Config version - 15.5.3.4

Appears connection via IP address and https give cretificate error as setup for dns loxone address

    Many thanks in advance

Try in your browser if you have access to http://user:rassword@miniserver_ip/data/LoxAPP3.json
If not the user don't have enough rights.

Thank you for your reply hismastersvoice. The user was created and set up with 'full access' on the miniserver. I tried the url you suggested replacing the user password and ip with correct information. Unfortunately both http & https send me to a search engine. But if I omit the 'user password@' and type in the user and password details into the prompt box I get the LoxAPP3.json data displayed on the screen, so it would seem the user has the rights to view the file but the combined url is not accepted for some reason.

I believe I have found the issue. It turns out that if I use special characters in the password the user is unreachable, when these are removed, all appears to work.
