Is there any plan to upgrade the Loxone Config framework?

Currently, the Loxone config software is limited to the Windows platform. I guess this is because the software is written with the Visual Studio framework?

Nowadays, a lot of people use non-windows platforms such as OSX or Linux. Is there a plan or intention to cater for these platforms? Maybe use cross platform frameworks such as IntelliJ or Eclipse?
