Dimming

So I still have the same issue with lighting via a Loxone dimmer that has always been there.

I can dim the lights down to 15 % (minimum level) all ok but the cannot be triggered at this level, they need to be triggered at 30% minimum.

this is a bit rubbish for the middle of the night as its far too bright.

Mains LED, 7w aurora units. Quantity largly irrelevant.

I have tried all the dimming types and various step / rate increments without success

I’m on the latest config.

i can think of 3 solutions:

1) change the bulbs to ones that start or dim lower - are they gu10 retrofit or integrated led downlights?

2) use a different dimmer - eg the knx theben fix2 has a setting for leds that starts slightly brighter and quckly dims down to the set values precisely to fix your problem

3) configure some loxone logic to start at a higher level and ramp down to the set one -- a ramp function can be made to do this
