Controlling overall brightness with a retractable switch

Ok I am working on a project which the end user wants an area that is covered by multiple lighting circuits to be controlled by switches on a wall. We are using Gmatrix push switches throughout. Some switches will turn on 1 circuit out of 6 (i.e desk lamp). I orginally planned this to just be removed or added to a mood. Now my main issue is if the main light is at 80% two others at 50% and the others off, the clients wants two switches assigned to (+) and (-) to dimmer the mood (scene) this would be the same as using the overall brighness in the UI. As far as I know there is no input on the function block that can adjust the overall brightness of a scene. Has anyone else wanted to do something like this.

If there was a web service that could do this from a virtual input it might work but I have been told there is not.

yes it can be done using buttons connected to a dimmer block and connect the output of the dimmer to a virtual output which drives the lighting blocks master dimmer via the api

Hallo in die Runde, Achtung - das ist mein erster Eintrag hier ;) Trotz vorheriger Recherche hier komme ich nicht weiter. Vielleicht habt ihr einen Ansatz. -

Thanks Duncan this is the perfect solution I had in mind with a webservice command. Do you think it is possible to capture the state of the Master overrall dimmer and feed it back to the dimmer block via input (p) so when you change the slider in the UI it will keep the dimmer block in snyc?
