Loxone Formatting Error

We are trying to do a factory reset of our Miniserver Gen 1. To do this we have to format the SD card in windows, then use the loxone config to format the SD card. However when this is halfway through it throws an error for "make sure the sd card isn't locked an in the PC". It does this for multiple SD cards (We used the original Loxone SD first). We are doing this because we no longer have access to the administrator account of the miniserver.

Sidenote: taking the SD card out of the miniserver seems to have zero impact on the miniserver, the card is also completely empty when we read it on a laptop.

The SD card is defective!

Format the card in Windows.
Then, run Loxone Config as administrator.
Disable any virus scanner before of formatting from Loxone.

We have tried running loxone config as administrator, this just ends up giving us the "please check if the sd card is in your pc" error when we try to format. We also tried a different sd card but with the same results

The card may have a maximum of 8 GB
Formatting in Fat32

We have tried both the included 2GB SD card and a 32Gb Sd card, both formatted to FAT32.

You could try a different formatting tool -

https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter/

Check the boxes that say "Overwrite format" and "CHS format size adjustment". That should get rid of any bad sectors.

Then also format them in Windows and de-select "Quick Format".
