Door controller functionality issue: No picture saved in "Last activity" section
We struggling for a while with an issue about Loxone Door controller functionality - user defined intercom. It's a about a IP Hikvision camera which was added succesfully to the systems, but snapshots(picture when ringing) are not saved into Loxone UI, in 'Last Activity' section. We have tried differents camera setting(resolution, fps,...), but without succes.
Have you met this issue before? Do you know which are the snap requirements on the door controller?Stichworte: - -
Hi,
apologies, just seen your post in the German section and noticed you also posted here - I missed this. I have a Hikvision 4K IP camera setup and configured for the intercom so hopefully I can help. Is the camera at the front door plugged into the NVR directly or a network switch? And, could you show me the URL strings you have for the various setttings on the door controller please - particularly picture on ringing if the video/audio is working fine both internally when on the network and over 4G remotely
cheers

Thanks for feedback!
The camera is plugget into a network switch. The stream url is: http://192.168.1.100/Streaming/channels/102/httpPreview. We have installed many Hikvision IP cameras, we can access the liveview local or remotely, but our issue is that snapshot of the visitor is not present in activity section. We have checked also on FTP the log files(jpg), but the pictures saved are not accurate.
On your project, the image/snapshot of the visitor is it saved on Last Activity section of the doorbell?

Hi Radu,
Yeah I've got the pictures captured and they show in the activity section on the app along with the date/time etc. I believe your issue is that you're not using the snapshot URL, the one above is for the video stream. For Loxone to capture the snapshot you need to give the picture when ringing parameter in the config one similar to http://username:pass@192.168.1.100/S...nels/1/picture or just http://192.168.1.100/Streaming/channels/1/picture if you have no authentication
If you pop your URL string into a browser and hit that page it should load a current static image which is what Loxone will capture when someone rings the bell.
Hopefully that cures it for you but any issues give me a shout. Also, I've attached a RSTP/HTTP url sheet which may be useful to keep if you install a lot of Hik also
Cheers,

Hi Alan,
Indeed the correct url for snapshot is the one mentioned by you. Thank you for feedback and hopefully that one day I'll return the help!
BTW, you mentioned about the rtsp url, but that stream is not applicable within Loxone structure. At least that from exprience. Have you managed to integrate rtsp stream without a middleware?
Cheers,

Ah happy days, glad it’s sorted for you. All the images storing as expected in access history too now? Yeah sorry, I worded that badly - no I haven’t got rstp into Loxone as they still only support mjpeg for whatever reason but the doc was more just for reference as it sets out the various urls and examples so thought I’d share given you install lots of hik and may have use for it on another non loxone project one day
