Magnetic contact Velux

I want to install magnetic contacts in my new Velux roof windows type GPU and GGU to check if the window is open or closed, but I don't know where and how I should do this.

Has anyone ever installed magnetic contacts in a velux GPU? Can you help me please.

Hello Koen,

I don't see the differece between a door or window and your roof windows. What is exactly your problem?

Hi all,

My problem is that I don't know which type of contact I should use, where and how on the window I should install this, and how I should make sure that the cable is invisible.
The contact has to work work with both ways the window can open: center pivot and top pivot.

If somebody has pictures or more information how they did this, please let me know
