Wiring in my house is already done, but I have an newbie idea which I would like to consult with you.
I have one S-FTP cat.7 cable going from point to point in a straight, linear bus topology. It was installed for a 1-wire sensors purpose. But 1-wire bus will use only 3 veins (4 if we consider not using a vein twisted with a voltage one for anyting else).
We have 2 shielded pairs unused. I thought it can be used as a Tree bus. Do you have any experience with such instalation? Will it work? In theory should, but I am afraid it could have negative influence over 1-wire sensor reliability and acuracy or possible amount of sensors.
