    Connect miniserver to boiler

Hello, I'd like to connect my miniserver to my boiIler, an ATAG IC28, to control it. Is this possible and would I lose any functionality doing so rather than the official ATAG ONE thermostat ? Is it a better solution to go through a Loxberry for this ?

Can somedy help me and explain to me how to connect the boiler and the miniserver ? If it is simple as a 3 wire operation I'd rather not pay a pro to screw a few wires I could do myself.

I have my ideas as how to program it in loxone but if anybody wants to help some more any help is welcome. I have some Air Actuators and some Tree Touch for temperature readings connected to a Intelligent Room Controller block for each room.

I'm attaching 3 pics of the user manual of the boiler that could help understand.

    Thank you.

this is very straight forward for loxone to control, 2 wires not even 3!

in addition to the permanent live to power the boiler and hot water supply, the demand to turn on the central heating can either be 230v switched via a loxone controlled relay to the switched live input swl input on the 230v block

    or

a volt free relay (eg loxone relay) connecting the 2 pins of the black volt-free thermostat connector - this shorts the 2 pins together to fire the boiler, do not use any voltage or mains to either of these connectors or you will kill the boiler hardware.

So, like on the photo below no matter what’s connected everywhere else ? From my air extension ? I suppose so but want to be sure not to kill my new boiler...

And at last, what wire should I prefer ? Cat 7 or 1.5mm ?

yes exactly like your diagram - doesnt matter what you use, but generally use cat cable for low voltage to help persuade people not to use 240v to this part! - also its easier to work with, more flexible, and has spare cores in case you find you need other stuff!
