simple doorbell

Small question... In my block they decided to install new doorbells, this means a simple Legrand lightswitch that returns to its position and this railmounted bell:

Could I just have them wire the Loxone inbetween: connect the lightswitch to an input, connect the doorbell to an output (same way as the switch is currently connected)?

It would perhaps not add much, apart from the possibility of having the doorbell show up on the phone or use it to trigger other things, switch off the doorbell, ... I would have to be sure not to keep the output on, or the bell will ring all the time...

They will also change the video phone system, but it looks like they went with some local producer that seems to make the most primitive sets possible, and as far as I can find there will be no possibility for integration or even upgrades that would allow for integration... For this bell input, you‘ll need a 230VAC (primary) coupling relay connected to the wires the bell would be.
The secondary of the relay, you connect like a push button (24V->secin->secout->input).

The output to the bell is connected like a normal power-plug socket on an output (230V->OutputIn->OutputOut->Bell).

Thanks! Why does there have to be a coupling relay ? Can't the pushbutton be wired like on this diagram?

Obviously you get a 230VAC doorbell, so it would be triggered by 230V from the button/station/somewhere. Therefore this requires a coupling relay.

I'm sorry but I'm puzzled... I'm not an electrician and would ask an electrician to do anything, so don't worry about that... I just want to understand

The switch is a normal pushswitch, so can't that one go directly on the Loxone (24V -> pushbutton -> digital input) ?
And the doorbell is indeed a 230V, but it is a light load and the Miniserver outputs are rated for 5A, so can it not go direct on one of the outputs?

Ok, it was not clear to me what voltage is used from the switch.

So if the bell button is directly connected to the Miniserver, it is connected as every push button.
And the bell is connected as every 230V device on the Miniserver.

As you said, “in my block...” I was thinking of a door base station with it’s own circuits, sending 230V to the bell. This would require a coupling relay for the ring signal to the Miniserver.

Ok, that makes sense!
No, all wiring for this doorbell is local: the bell itself takes power from one of my circuits, the switch is really just a simple pushbutton switch.

The electrician will have to be back to install the videophone, so I may ask him then to rewire it (still not sure if there is much point to it though... but it seems an easy thing to do and I have the inputs/outputs available - what do you think?).

It would be nice if the videophone could be integrated, but I doubt it, still trying to find the wiring diagrams...

Connecting the videophone to the Miniserver, all depends to the voltages and wiring diagram of the videophone.
