Just wanted to have this confirmed as I am not familiar with wiring domotica in the fuse box. As far as I have understood it, a loxone relais should be treated as a regular switch. This means that I should wire a 16a automat between the differential and the relais (light), and wire a 20a automat between the differential and the relais (power line/stores) to be in accordance with Belgium's AREI.

Loxone fuse
Hi,

Hi Stephenrda,
I live in Belgium as well and I'm looking to implement Loxone in my new home. I'm familiar with the AREI.
Simplified verions of the AREI always tell you to use 16A with 1,5mm² and 20 with 2,5mm². However, in practice you need to make sure your electrical components comply with these current.
You cannot put a 25A fuse on cables of 2,5mm². You can however use a 10A fuse on 1,5 or 2,5 mm². This will not affect your certification.
Also the AREI states that when you use outlets and lights in the same circuit you need at least 2,5mm² because it assumed that you'll a 20A fuse. When you reduce the fuse value, you can reduce the core section.
I recommend you to keep using 1,5mm² for light and 2,5mm² for future reference and simplicity. Just use a 10A or lower fuse for your lights, in that case the safety hazards of the 14A relays be resolved. I hope this answers your question?
